Responsibilities:
- Implement and adhere to all company policies related to cash collection and credit management.
- Take ownership of debt collection for the assigned portfolio, ensuring timely follow-up on all outstanding payments.
- Reach out to customers and partners regarding overdue balances, fostering positive relationships while addressing payment concerns.
- Negotiate payment plans and terms when necessary, always striving for amicable and practical solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, balances, and any issues that impact payments, providing full transparency.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Sales and Customer Service to resolve disputes effectively and maintain strong client relationships.
- Prepare regular reports on credit and collections activities, highlighting overdue accounts, potential credit risks, and identifying areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in credit control or a similar role is advantageous.
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles and credit control procedures.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism in difficult conversations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Fluent in both Greek and English.
