Navichem, a member of the KAELINE Group, is looking to hire an Operations Manager for its operations in Athens.
We are in the process of launching an ambitious chemical project focused on delivering high-quality solutions in the industrial and manufacturing sectors. To support our operational readiness and efficiency, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Manager to oversee logistics, inventory control, and coordination across departments.
Role Summary:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily functioning of the company’s supply chain operations. This includes planning and coordinating product deliveries, monitoring stock levels across various locations, ensuring accurate invoicing and documentation, and supporting the operational infrastructure of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the delivery of products to clients and internal sites.
- Monitor stock levels at all storage and distribution points to ensure optimal inventory control.
- Manage order processing, delivery schedules, and logistics coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoice generation and control, working closely with the Finance and Procurement teams.
- Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and warehouse teams to ensure delivery commitments are met.
- Identify and resolve operational issues that may affect service delivery or inventory accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements, deliveries, and returns.
- Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements related to logistics and warehouse operations.
- Provide operational reports and updates to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations or logistics management, preferably in the chemical or industrial sector.
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes, inventory control, and delivery coordination.
- Experience working with ERP systems and inventory management software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English is required; Greek or other languages will be considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of operational processes.
