Position Summary
The Sales Executive will be responsible for maintaining existing client relationships, generating new business, and ensuring customer satisfaction across assigned markets. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have a good understanding of sales processes and client servicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Promote and sell the company’s portfolio of marine lubricants and services to achieve sales targets.
- Identify business opportunities and actively pursue new accounts and markets.
- Respond to customer inquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up on proposals.
- Address and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of orders and deliveries.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, performance data to management and conduct frequent meetings.
- Follow up on quotations sent.
- Participate in meetings with principals for training and new product information, travel abroad, and attend industry exhibitions when required.
- Ensure excellent after-sales support and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activity.
Qualifications & Skills
- University degree in Business, Shipping, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the maritime lubricants sector.
- Results oriented, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Ability to build strong relationships and maintain long-term client engagement.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; Greek is an advantage.
